Gear Icon Options

Field Name Description
Wrap Text in Cells Wraps the text in the cell when truncated.
Assignment Settings Sets global assignment template Preferences:
  • Automatically Push Assignments: select this check box to automatically apply, and push assignment template modifications to personnel associated with the modified assignment template, if any.
  • Display days off as grayed out: displays days off per the day off label source selection in gray color.
  • Day off label source: Abbreviation, Name, Custom. The Abbreviation, and Name label source apply to the work code associated with the Assignment via the Assignment Override Work Code > Off Duty setting, along with the Day Off Shift Mask pattern applied. The Custom label source applies to shift mask days off, and shift non-working days.
  • Day off label display: use with the custom setting to create a label.
Convert Assignments To Templates Turns one or more assignments to a template for multiple people in a single instance. This feature replicates the Save As... template1 function where one or more assignments can be bundled and converted to a single template.

Template Filter Options

Filter Icon option: Add/Edit Filter is used to create new filters, or edit existing filters.

Field Name Template Filter Field Description
Selected Filter Displays a list of filters and +Add new filter options.
*Filter Name The name of the selected filter. Names are best displayed when concise, and meaningful.
Available to All Users When selected, allows other users to access this Filter.
Default filter Allows authorized users to set their filter of choice as their default filter when accessing the Assignment Template view. Available in application version 6.8.12+, and 7.2.4+.
Note:

Opting for no default filter may improve the user experience by omitting unnecessary assignments to be drawn on the page.
Filter Limits he assignment templates in view by organization position data, date range, and whether the template is assigned or unassigned. Template filters process target data within the assignment template.

  Include:
  • All (AND) - All returns records that match all of the selections.
  • Any(OR) - Any returns records that match any of the selections.
For example, suppose that more than one Agency is selected. All means “and or in addition to”. All searches for all of the selected items in one assignment template. This means, if Agency A and Agency B are selected, then the application will search for assignment templates that contain both Agency A AND Agency B. If Any is selected, then the application will search for assignment templates that contain Agency A OR Agency B. The more filter options applied using ALL the tighter the search result.
Sort Sorts assignment templates in a specific order.

Apply Applies a filter for preview in this instance.
Save Saves filter limits and sort selections.
Cancel Exits the Template Filter dialog without applying or saving any settings.
Delete Removes the Template Filter.
