Shift Pattern Behavior: The application does not allow the user to deploy a blueprint on a day when the shift does not run. This means that a shift running Monday through Friday will not deploy a blueprint on a Saturday. However, the copy and paste functionality ignores this rule and allows blueprints to be pasted on a day the shift does not run. Allowing schedulers to quickly override shift definitions when copying blueprints. |
The Copy feature honors:
- Person and production line security settings within the blueprint. This means if a specific product contains line restrictions in the security settings, then the application will not paste the copied blueprint.
- Effective Date and Conclusion Date. Copied blueprints will not paste outside the blueprint’s effective or conclusion date.
- Institution Overlap Configuration. Copied blueprints will not paste on a line that will create an overlap between blueprints if Overlap is not allowed.
